Well, Stomp up and back down again. I’ve been wanting to hike in a creek for a while now, so I finally geared up (water shoes, quick dry pants, etc) to go walk through water and went up to Cuivre River State Park near Troy, Missouri and hiked up Sugar Creek. Not to be confused with Big Sugar Creek, which is a bit … bigger.
I did find some cool things and one of those is that the creek is at least partially spring fed. I’ve also discovered that on these hikes, I could really use a camera person, a naturalist and a geologist. So, if anyone knows some good hikers to come along on hikes, let me know.
There are a few swimming holes along the creek as well.
