Bain Capital – Romney ‘left‘ in 1999, but signed papers and drew an executive salary until much later. He claims he simply retired retroactively. No, he was Owner, CEO, Chairman of the Board AND sole stockholder, but he didn’t actually DO anything for that $100,000+ yearly salary. Well, if paying someone to do nothing is his company’s idea of good business, then I don’t think he should be holding the purse strings for the nation – especially when he accepted a huge salary for doing nothing.
Someone releasing a video for him edited the ever lovin heck out of an Obama speech – kind of like Fox News does a lot – to make it seem bad.

What was actually said (left out parts in bold) :

There are dozens of ‘astroturf,’ dishonest, plain out lying crap the GOP is doing, has done and will do again if elected. Please, please….
