You know, I just sold three pre-need funerals. It feels great! I know that I have helped three people have a lot more peace of mind (and save a good bit of money on two). The third one may or may not save money, it was for her mother who just went into a nursing home.. if she lives a good five years, she will save around $1000.00 or more.
The other two were 54 years old and in good health. They will save a bundle… or their estate will or their kids. Getting this kinda thing out of the way is a great gift for the survivors.. plus you get to have your funeral YOUR way instead of your kids choosing how you go out. š
So, I’ve been planning my funeral and writing everything down. I think it will be a blast. I may even go ahead and fund it. I’m young and could pay for the very extravagant funeral I desire in little monthly payments instead of just one big lump sum when I die. š Oh, and I’ll have it MY way, baby, YEAH!! And if they don’t like it, well, you can just not show up… but send the Rum anyway. š
Still, I don’t like selling it the way they want… I’d rather market well and have people call me. But, hey, that’s how its been working so far. We’ll see how it goes from here. And I still want that Telecommunications Sales position.
